1: 1.2329 steel introduction
Din 1.2329 steel,also refers to 46CrSiMoV7 as per German standard.As one of the hot work tool steels, 1.2329 has high strength, toughness, good hardenability and stability against overheating, but has high white spot sensitivity and temper brittleness. Poor weldability, high temperature preheating shall be conducted before welding, stress shall be removed after welding, and it shall be used after quenching and tempering.
