SKS43 steel is used for Japanese alloy cutting tools and commonly used for impact tools. The steel has high hardness and good wear resistance.Tool steel has a relatively high hardness and a red hardness which can maintain a high hardness at a high temperature.

6. AISI L2 Tool Steel Heat Treatment
Hot-working treatment : 800-1020 ℃
Quenching : 760-780 ℃. Water cooling, wate-oil double liquid cooling or alkali bath colling.
Hardness after quenching : 60 HRCHardness after tempering.
7: Delivery condition
For hot forged or hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged or rolled, annealed, rough turned.
For hot forged plate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed, milled surface.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, black surface.
