1: 430F steel introduction
430F is a martensitic free-cutting stainless steel based on 430 stainless steel with improved cutting performance over 430. By adding elemental sulfur, 430F steel has good machinability and low friction coefficient. 430F has ferromagnetism, the addition of sulfur makes 430F easier to cut and has good processability, but compared with 430, the weldability and corrosion resistance are lower.
